Born in Barrie Ontario, Jessica moved to West
Vancouver, BC with her family at a young age. A native to the acting
industry, Jessica grew up with professional actors in the family and
spent her first nine years traveling around U.S. due to her family’s
film schedules. This well acquainted Jessica with the film industry
which ignited her interest to pursue acting.

Growing up in such a talented, dynamic family,
Jessica was exposed to all facets of the film industry which gave
her a vast amount of experience and knowledge of the industry.
Jessica’s father, Allan Harmon, is a director (Afghan Nights,
Passions Web) and her mother, former actress Cynde Harmon, is a
local Producer who owns “Really Real Films” in North Vancouver BC.
She also has a brother, actor Richard Harmon (15 years old), who
recently finished filming in the new Warner Brothers movie “Trick or
Treat”.

After bugging her parents for years to be an
actor she was told she could have an agent at the age of ten just to
try it out. Her first audition was to play the younger version of
Gwyneth Paltrow in ‘Great Expectations’. After five callbacks
Jessica was flown to New York to be screen tested. Three thousand
girls auditioned for the role which had been narrowed down to
Jessica and one other. After a week of testing with the director the
role ended up going to the one other girl but at that point Jessica
was hooked. Jessica’s first role was a two part guest lead on ‘The
Outer Limits’ at 10 years old. From then on, she worked
occasionally while mainly focusing on school until she graduated.
Jessica has been working consistently ever since.
Jessica first moved to L.A. in 2004 to enroll
in college, when she booked the ABC series ‘Life As We Know It’
(Kelly Osborne), which was filming in Vancouver. Jessica had only
been in LA for three days before having to return home to shoot and
to re-enroll herself in an Art History College program here in
Vancouver.

As one of Canada’s most vibrant up and coming
young actors, Jessica Harmon can be seen in her most recent feature
film, ‘Passions Web’, which is scheduled to premier April 1st
at 8:00pm on the Lifetime Network in the US under the title of
‘Uncaged Heart’. ‘Passions Web’, directed by her father Allan Harmon
was filmed in Vancouver. The cast includes Julie Warner (Nip & Tuck)
who plays Jessica’s sister and Sebastian Spence. The worldwide
release of ‘Passions Web’ is the first project Jessica and her
father have worked on together.
Most recently, Jessica finished filming a
supporting lead role in the feature film “Black Christmas” directed
by Glen Morgan, alongside Andrea Martin (SCTV), Michelle
Trachtenberg (Six Feet Under), and Lacey Chabert (Party of Five),
which premiered in theatres Christmas 2006. Her other feature film
credits include Sony Pictures ‘Hollow Man II’ (Christian Slater,
Peter Facinelli), ‘Agent Cody Banks’ (Hilary Duff, Frankie Muniz)
and Twentieth Century Fox’s comedy, ‘John Tucker Must Die’ (Jesse
Metcalfe, Jenny McCarthy, Ashanti).

Jessica Harmon’s television guest star
appearances and recurring roles include CTV’s Whistler, Life As We
Know It, The Outer Limits, Killer Instinct and The New Adams Family
to name a few. Currently, Jessica can be seen guest starring in
“Supernatural” where she plays a slightly goth loner who's having a
very difficult time with the fact that she has supernatural
abilities especially now that she's woken up in the middle of no
where with a group of strangers.
Jessica currently resides in Los Angeles and
Vancouver. When she is not on set she enjoys her favorite pass
times of hiking, yoga and enjoying the outdoors.
